About the role

Sheridan Security Group is seeking experienced and professional Private Security Officers to provide security services to a client(s) across Sydney.

The role requires individuals who are reliable, discreet and confident in a range of operational environments. Successful candidates will demonstrate robust situational awareness, sound judgement and the ability to identify, manage and respond to security and safety concerns in a skilled and appropriate manner.

Officers will be expected to maintain high standards of presentation, communication and confidentiality while delivering security services tailored to client and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities
Providing professional security services in accordance with client and operational requirements
Maintaining situational awareness and identifying potential security or safety concerns
Responding appropriately to security, safety and medical incidents
Liaising with clients, emergency services and other security personnel where required
Maintaining accurate incident reports, shift records and operational documentation
Supporting the implementation of security procedures and risk management measures
Maintaining strict confidentiality and skilled conduct at all times

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Well presented with a professional approach to security operations
Flexible and adaptable to changing operational requirements
Current NSW Security Licence appropriate to the duties performed
Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
Current Australian Driver Licence
Current Australian working rights
Demonstrated experience in the security industry
Ability to successfully complete relevant background and reference checks

Experience within private security, event security, executive protection, residential security, corporate security, policing, military or other high-trust security settings will be highly regarded.
