Refrigeration mechanic — split system installs, Neerabup factory
XCircle manufactures modular equipment rooms at our Neerabup and Wangara factory. We're looking for a licensed refrigeration mechanic to install split systems with us on a casual basis.
Around 100 hours before Christmas, starting next week. Then around 490 hours from late January through to July 2027, in blocks of 3 to 11 days, roughly one building a month.
The work
Daikin wall splits, R32, 7.1 to 10 kW. Three to six systems per building.
Install and flare-connect pre-insulated refrigerant coil, 12 to 21 m per circuit
Condensate drains in 25 mm PVC
Pressure test with dry nitrogen
Triple evacuation and charge
Test run and record performance
Indoor heads and outdoor units are already mounted in position when you start. No lifting units into place.
What we provide
A trades assistant to work alongside you for the whole job — running and bracketing coil, drains, supports and clean-up
All equipment and materials free-issued — units, coil, insulation, drains, supports and consumables
Everything is on the factory floor, under cover, at ground level. No site work, no heights, no confined space
$80 per hour + GST
What you need
Restricted refrigerant handling (ARC) licence
Own ABN and public liability insurance
Own tools, gauges, vacuum pump and nitrogen
To apply
Send your ARC licence number, your ABN, and when you can start. Happy to begin with one building and go from there.
