A.E CONSULTING ENGINEERS PTY LTD AE Group is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing structural, civil, stormwater, geotechnical, remedial and dilapidation engineering services to residential and commercial developments across New South Wales. We are seeking a full time Geotechnical Engineer who will be able to work independently or as a part of a team, reliable and will be rewarded with a excellent salary also a friendly and supportive work environment.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Plan and conduct geotechnical site investigations, including borehole drilling, soil sampling and field testing.
Analyse soil and rock properties, groundwater conditions, bearing capacity and settlement characteristics.
Prepare geotechnical engineering designs and recommendations for foundations, retaining walls,
excavations and earthworks.
Assess ground stability, soil movement, settlement risks and excavation conditions.
Interpret laboratory testing results, geological information and engineering drawings.
Requirements/Skills Qualification:
Relevant Bachelor Degree
At least 3 years of relevant experience
High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering and geotechnical investigation methods.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare technical reports.
Robust analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
