About the role

We are seeking an experienced Merchandise Manager to oversee merchandise operations across our diverse portfolio of hospitality and tourism businesses. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that successful merchandising is about more than ordering stock. You will understand how to connect guests with our brands through products, experiences and memorable take-home purchases that add value to their visit while driving commercial outcomes. You'll have the ability to see opportunities where others don't, developing recent merchandise offerings, tourism packages, retail concepts and experiences that increase visitation, guest spend and overall business profitability.

Key responsibilities
Oversee merchandise operations across a diverse portfolio of hospitality and tourism businesses
Identify opportunities and develop profitable product ranges
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively
Create and market unique tourism experiences
Drive revenue growth across multiple business entities
Analyse sales data and identify growth opportunities
Develop recent merchandise offerings, tourism packages,



retail concepts and experiences
Ensure product selection, presentation and brand alignment
Take initiative and consistently look for ways to improve profitability

About you
Experience in merchandising, retail buying, tourism, marketing or inventory management
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Understanding of stock control, forecasting and purchasing principles
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Confident analysing sales data and identifying growth opportunities
Ability to build robust relationships with suppliers and negotiate effectively
Creative eye for product selection, presentation and brand alignment
Ability to create, package and market tourism experiences that enhance the guest journey
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-business environment
