Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturer operating a TGA-licensed facility. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join their team in an ongoing casual position with consistent full-time hours and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead a team of operators while helping to ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are met.
Hours: Monday to Friday | Day Shift
Key Responsibilities
Leading and supporting a team of production operators
Coordinating daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules
Ensuring GMP, quality and safety requirements are followed
Completing and reviewing production documentation
Assisting with staffing,
training and workflow planning
Troubleshooting production issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Role Requirements
Previous experience in pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical or other regulated manufacturing settings
Experience in a Team Leader, Leading Hand, Supervisor or similar position
Strong understanding of GMP principles and manufacturing processes
Ability to lead by example in a quick-paced production environment
Robust communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safety, quality and team performance
