A long-established national commercial law firm is adding a junior lawyer to its Brisbane Planning & Environment team. It is a large, well-resourced practice with a strong pipeline of work, and you would report directly to a Senior Team member and have access to a Partner who is known for developing junior lawyers into positive ones. What you’ll actually do
You will run your own files from the start, with real court exposure, not a watching brief. The work is wide-ranging and complex, and it changes daily:
Litigation in the Planning & Environment Court
Environmental impact assessments
Planning scheme amendments and approvals
Project approvals under State and Federal legislation
Land acquisition and access
Regulatory compliance, enforcement and disputes
You will work alongside senior lawyers who have time to teach,
and a Partner who takes mentoring seriously.

1 to 3 years’ post-admission experience in planning and environment law. More experience will also be considered.
