Hands-on role managing daily administration, purchasing, freight, logistics and inventory operations within a busy service industry environment. Leading and supporting the administration and stores teams, allocating workloads and monitoring performance.

Key responsibilities
Overseeing purchasing activities, supplier orders, pricing and stock control
Managing data entry, job costing, invoicing and ERP systems including MYOB, Ocerra, Ariba and Coupa
Reviewing and approving employee timesheets, labour entries and overtime
Working closely with workshop management to coordinate job scheduling, purchasing, stock movements and invoicing
Overseeing inventory management, stocktakes and accurate record keeping
Monitoring administration KPIs, identifying discrepancies and implementing improvements
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve operational issues
Coordinating month-end processes, reporting and financial administration with the Finance Department
Conducting team meetings and supporting continuous improvement across business operations

About you




Previous experience in an Administration Manager, Office Manager or similar leadership role
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, mining support or an industrial setting highly regarded
Robust understanding of purchasing, inventory management, invoicing and administrative processes
Experience using ERP systems, with MYOB, Ocerra, Ariba or Coupa experience advantageous
Proven ability to lead, support and manage a team
Hands-on approach with the willingness to assist across all areas of administration
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
