You will manage the flow of orders requiring robust reliance on monitoring and co-ordination of delivery pickup and/or drop off schedules. Working hours are
Monday 7.30am - 4.15pm, Tuesday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Friday finish at 12.15pm. On offer is a starting salary of circa £30,000 per annum.
Key Duties:
Receiving material into the facility and distribution to the appropriate points of use
Picking, packing & dispatching customer orders
Identifying, investigating and processing inventory discrepancies
Loading and unloading deliveries manually and via forklift truck operation
Ensuring timely despatch of sales orders to the daily sales order backlog
Updating data on all spread sheets required for exports and import compliance
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - accredited
Valuable communications skills
IT literate, MS Office, use of the Internet
Quality awareness
Knowledge of import export procedures and customs requirements
Very organised with great attention to detail
