About the role
As a Casual Breakfast Chef at Demi Chef level, you'll support the daily operation of the kitchen and help deliver consistent, high-quality food in a busy, high-energy workplace. You’ll:
Prepare and present breakfast dishes with care and consistency
Support the smooth running of your section and kitchen service
Work collaboratively with the kitchen, front-of-house and hotel teams
Maintain food safety standards and comply with hygiene requirements
Ensure ingredients and supplies are stored safely and rotated correctly
Keep kitchen and storage areas clean, organised and safe
Communicate clearly and contribute to a positive, professional team environment
Follow hotel policies and procedures
About you
You’re a motivated chef who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team. You’ll bring:
Experience in a quality commercial kitchen; breakfast experience is an advantage
Commercial cookery qualifications and sound food safety knowledge
A creative approach to cooking and a willingness to learn
The ability to stay organised and manage multiple tasks during busy service
A reliable, skilled and positive attitude
Valuable communication skills and openness to sharing ideas and feedback
Flexibility to work casual shifts, including weekends and occassionally nights
Punctuality and a well-presented manner
