The role

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Leading Hand to run a Commercial venue in Sunshine. You’ll lead a small team of cleaners, make sure every task is finished to standard each shift, and be the go-to person for everything happening on site.

What you’ll do
Lead, guide, and support the cleaning team on site, including showing new starters the ropes
Allocate daily tasks and check that all duties are completed and signed off before the end of each shift
Work alongside the team doing hands-on cleaning
Carry out quality checks and fix issues quickly
Look after the site, including reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and incidents
Manage stock and consumables and keep equipment clean and in positive working order
Communicate with the Area Manager and site client representatives in a skilled way
Follow and promote safe work practices,



chemical safety, and site security procedures

Shifts

Night cleans - Mon–Fri, 7pm start

About you
You have at least [1–2] years of commercial cleaning experience, ideally including supervising or leading a team
You’re reliable and organised and take pride in finishing the job properly
You communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written, for briefing staff and reporting
You’re comfortable using a smartphone for rostering, checklists, and reporting apps
You’re confident using commercial cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, vacuums, and floor machines
You know your way around protected chemical handling and OHS practices

Requirements
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
Current Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
Full working rights in Australia

Pay: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
