Avan Campers is looking for a reliable and competent cabinet builder to join our team with a view to a permanent position.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assembling high quality cabinetry and joinery components according to technical drawings, specifications and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Assemble cabinetry, cupboards, drawers, shelving and other joinery components.
Operate woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools safely and accurately.
Install components, handles, drawer runners and other cabinet hardware.
Ensure cabinetry is built to a high quality, with accuracy and compliant with any other specifications.
Maintain a clean and secure working setting
Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated equivalent industry experience
Pratical experince in cabinet making, joinery or furniture manufaturing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Experience operating machinery and tools.
Valuable attention to detail.
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to work as part of a team or independantly
