An chance is available for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join an established Australian-owned business at its Blacktown facility.

Working in a heavy industrial environment, youll maintain and repair a variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment. This hands-on role combines preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

The Role
Carry out preventative maintenance across mobile and fixed plant
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs
Respond to breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime
Work closely with the maintenance and operations teams
Maintain safe working practices across all tasks

Hours

Monday-Friday: 5:00 am-3:30 pm

Saturday: Half shift

About You
Australian-recognised mechanical trade qualification - Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent




At least two years of relevant maintenance experience
Robust mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
Welding and oxy-cutting experience advantageous
Reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn specialist equipment
Able to meet the physical requirements of the role
Applicants must have Australian working rights and be able to complete drug and alcohol screening and a police check.
