QHC Group is a growing Brisbane residential building company looking for an experienced Residential Estimator to become a key part of the team. You'll work directly with the builder and directors and have genuine ownership of the estimating process from project pricing through to construction.

Key responsibilities
Preparing accurate residential construction estimates and costings
Completing quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering plans
Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing
Preparing scopes of work and purchase orders
Reviewing plans, engineering and specifications for discrepancies
Managing variations and maintaining accurate project costs
Working closely with the builder, supervisors, suppliers and subcontractors
Helping improve QHC's estimating systems and processes

About you




Understanding of how a house is actually built
Organised and commercially minded
Confident reading construction drawings
Comfortable taking ownership of your work
Experience with residential estimating software highly regarded
