Occhio Optometry, located on vibrant Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, is looking for a friendly, motivated and customer focused Optical Dispenser to join our team.
Under new ownership, we’re excited to build on the practice’s established reputation for quality eye care and personalised service. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for detail and takes pride in helping patients find the perfect eyewear.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting patients with frame selection and eyewear styling.
Dispensing spectacles and providing guidance on lens options.
Taking measurements and ensuring accurate, comfortable fittings.
Providing exceptional customer service throughout the patient journey.
Managing orders, collections and adjustments.
Supporting the optometrist and maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience in optical dispensing or optical retail (preferred).
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enjoys building relationships with patients and providing personalised service.
Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail.
Works well independently and as part of a close-knit team.
