Hunter Manning is partnering with a well-regarded organisation, known for its supportive team culture and reliable reputation in the market, to find an experienced Accounts Officer to join its finance team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll manage a range of day-to-day accounting functions in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities
Full-function accounts payable and accounts receivable
Processing and coding supplier invoices and preparing payment runs
Customer invoicing and following up overdue accounts
Daily bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintaining supplier and customer master files
Assisting with month-end, including accruals and journals
Preparing BAS and IAS support documentation
Assisting with payroll as required
Handling finance queries from internal and external stakeholders

About you
2+ years’ experience in a similar accounts role
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and intermediate Excel




Sound understanding of GST and general accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Solid organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Clear, professional communication skills
Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping, or relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
