An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer to join a highly regarded Sydney law firm with a strong reputation in family law.

Our client is seeking a motivated Associate or Senior Associate who is passionate about family law, enjoys working directly with clients and is looking for long-term career progression within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Opportunity
You will manage a diverse range of family law matters, working closely with experienced senior practitioners while enjoying autonomy and responsibility for your own files.

Your work will include:
Complex property settlements and financial disputes
Parenting arrangements and parenting disputes
Divorce and separation matters
Binding Financial Agreements (BFAs)
Spousal maintenance and child support matters
Family law litigation and court proceedings
Mediation, negotiation and dispute resolution
Advising high-net-worth individuals on complex family law matters

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
2+ years' post-admission experience in family law




Strong experience managing family law matters independently
Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
Experience appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
Solid client relationship management skills
A commercial, empathetic and solutions-focused approach
A genuine interest in building a long-term career in family law
