About the role

Unique Homestyle Foods is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join our fast-paced environment. In this role you will be responsible for leading and supporting our team, ensuring excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Often this is the first point of contact for our customers and consumers, and we take pride on ensuring that every interaction is a courteous, informed and positive experience.

Key responsibilities
Leading, coaching and supporting team members to achieve their goals and deliver excellent customer service
Accurately processing customer orders and resolving any issues in a timely manner
Liaising with other internal departments to ensure orders, credits and deliveries are carried out efficiently and professionally
Investigating and processing credits
Maintaining a robust knowledge and understanding of product range and categories
Providing product recommendations and upselling opportunities




Managing daily operations, including stock, resources and workflow
Making friendly cold calls to potential customers in food industry
Supporting other departments to ensure systems are maintained
Engaging in sales campaigns

About you
Proven experience in a customer service or team leader role, preferably in the food industry
Solid leadership and team management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous customer service experience in food industry
Highly accurate and proficient data entry skills
Exceptional time management and attention to detail abilities
Confident on the phone and comfortable making occasional cold calls
Ability to learn new product ranges and features
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Solid problem-solving skills
