A large national manufacturer needs a Recruitment Coordinator to keep blue-collar hiring moving at its plant in Brisbane’s south-west. This is a one-month temporary contract starting ASAP reporting to the Head of Talent & Capability.
You will step straight into a busy recruitment workload, so we’re looking for someone who has done this before and can be helpful from the first week.
What you will be doing
You will work alongside People Business Partners, site leaders and the Talent Acquisition team. Most days you’ll be:
Running recruitment for plant roles from start to finish: posting jobs, screening, booking interviews and assessment centres, pre-employment checks, offers and onboarding handover
Working with labour hire providers to get workers on site, covering availability, right to work, medicals, safety inductions and site access
Keeping trackers and recruitment systems accurate, and reporting on vacancies, time to fill, commencements and labour hire numbers
Being the person supervisors and candidates call to find out where things are up to
This role will suit you if
You’re available to start ASAP for the full month
You’re comfortable spending your day on a manufacturing site
You like talking with supervisors and shift workers face to face, not only over email
You can juggle a high number of vacancies and keep the detail right when priorities change
What you will bring
Recent experience in recruitment coordination, agency recruitment, labour hire or a similar role
Experience with high-volume, manufacturing, warehousing or blue-collar recruitment
Confidence with an applicant tracking system, Microsoft Office and spreadsheets
Advantages
A month of hands-on experience in waged and labour hire recruitment inside a large national manufacturer
A supportive team who will get you set up quickly
Possibility of Temp to perm for the right person
