Here is what a unicorn in the sector looks like:




Extensive experience managing an Aged Care facility in Australia as a Facility Manager or General Manager
Current AHPRA Registration with a robust clinical nursing background
Funding & Rostering Mastery: Deep expertise in the AN-ACC funding model and optimizing rosters to hit the 215-minute care mandates without blowing out budgets
Quality & Compliance: A proven track record with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC), maintaining high Star Ratings, or successfully turning around underperforming homes
Commercial Acumen: Strong financial management skills with a history of driving high occupancy, managing P&Ls;, and optimizing localized revenue streams
People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drastically reduce agency spend by recruiting, developing, and retaining a secure, high-performing clinical workforce
Progressive Vision: A genuine alignment with modern, resident-directed care models (e.g., small-household models, community integration, or hospitality-led dining)
