Payroll Call Centre Operators | 4-Month Contract

We are partnering with a NSW Government organisation to recruit multiple Payroll Call Centre Operators for an upcoming project. These contract opportunities suit candidates with experience in payroll, contact centres, shared services, or customer support who enjoy helping people and resolving enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
Manage payroll-related enquiries via phone, email, and online channels
Assist with questions relating to pay, leave, timesheets, superannuation, and payroll policies
Investigate and resolve payroll issues or escalate where required
Maintain accurate employee records across payroll and HR systems
Provide clear and skilled guidance on payroll processes and procedures
Support administrative and payroll processing activities as required

About You
Experience in payroll, customer service, contact centre, or administration roles
Robust communication and problem-solving skills




High attention to detail and data accuracy
Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
Proficient using computer systems and databases
Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

Desirable
Payroll experience within government or large, complex organisations
Exposure to Aurion, MicrOpay, or similar payroll systems
Certificate IV in Payroll Administration (highly regarded)
