ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be hosted by a Government Organisation that will support and mentor you throughout your traineeship. This is a excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in Civil Construction, gaining hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification. You'll work alongside experienced crews across a range of road construction and maintenance projects, learning practical skills that can set you up for a long-term career in the industry.

Day shift only
Gain a Certificate III in Civil Construction - Road Construction and Maintenance (3-year traineeship)
Permanent fixed-term employment with a minimum of 38 hours per week
Annual leave and personal leave entitlements
On-the-job training and ongoing support from experienced mentors

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General labouring tasks across road construction and maintenance projects
Assist crews with a variety of civil and roadwork activities
Set up and pack down site equipment and work zones
Use hand and power tools under supervision
Maintain a protected and tidy work environment
Work as part of a team to support daily operations
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Complete the theory and practical requirements of your traineeship
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Current Driver Licence
A genuine interest in building a career in Civil Construction
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Previous civil, labouring or construction experience highly regarded but not essential
Construction White Card
Ability to perform physical outdoor work
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
Provide two recent, contactable work references
