Application/Production Support Engineer - $100-110K + Bonus - Sydney - Hybrid

Our client is a rapid-paced fintech running their own bespoke platform. Theyu0027re after a sharp, switched-on Production Support Engineer to keep that platform healthy and look after the people who use it. Itu0027s a genuine mix of application and End User IT support, and itu0027s a great next step for someone with 3 to 5 years under their belt whou0027s ready to grow.

What youu0027ll be doing
Resolving application issues for end users across the fintech platform
Supporting a Windows setting across a hybrid AWS and Azure setup
Supporting and monitoring the bespoke platform using Datadog, SaaS tools and Snowflake
Using relational databases (SQL) to triage incidents and get to root cause
Leading major incidents, building resolution plans and keeping stakeholders informed with clear comms
Handling laptops, walk-ups, asset management and meeting room AV
Running Microsoft onboarding and offboarding




Using AI tools to automate processes and improve workflows

What youu0027ll bring
3 to 5 years in application/production AND IT support
Confident writing SQL queries to investigate incidents
Windows and Microsoft 365 support experience
Exposure to monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic or Splunk
SAAS/Fintech experience is preferable
Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk)
Salesforce, Snowflake, scripting (Python, PowerShell) or fintech experience is a bonus
A proactive mindset. You think through problems, not just log them
