Seeking a support worker to assist a gentleman living in Taringa with a Monday evening shopping and cooking shift. (On occasion this shift may also be used to research activities and upcoming events to be scheduled for additonal support shifts). He enjoys music, dancing, and video games and has Down Syndrome. He lives in his own home and works two jobs in mainstream employment.

The Role:
Food shopping & Cooking
Transport & Community Access

Shifts:
Monday evenings - 4:30pm – 9pm
Prospects for additional shifts when staff are on leave

Essential requirements:
+1 years experience Disability support work
High level of English proficiency
Open Driver’s license and own vehicle with insurance
Live within reasonable travelling distance
Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)

Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday 6 AM to 8 PM: $37.50 per hour
Monday to Friday 8 PM to 6 AM: $42.00 per hour
Saturday: $52.50 per hour
Sunday: $67.50 per hour




Public Holidays: $82.50 per hour
