Based at our Derrimut FMCG facility, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who combines strong commercial capability with genuine operational knowledge of the transport and logistics industry.
About the Role
Reporting to the Company Directors and working closely with the Group Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in developing bespoke logistics solutions for existing and potential customers with contracts exceeding $4M.
The role will predominantly be based in Melbourne, with some interstate and regional travel required.
You will work across our three core business pillars:
Contract Logistics
Ambient & Refrigerated Warehousing
Linehaul
What You'll Do
Work in an experienced team to bring together Identify and pursue strategic new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong qualified relationships with leading Australian organisations




Develop detailed commercial models, including optimised routing, equipment selection and operational solutions
Prepare and present compelling customer proposals
Work with the executive team on business improvement and growth initiatives
Support operational teams through new contract implementations and start-ups
Evaluate opportunities for multi-customer integration, network optimisation and route improvements
Work collaboratively across commercial and operational teams to develop practical, commercially sustainable solutions

You will bring:

The ability to manage priorities and deliver to firm deadlines
A positive, driven and solutions-focused mindset
Relevant Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree qualifications and/or substantial industry experience in a similar role
