We are recruiting for an established accounting and advisory firm in West Perth seeking a senior tax professional to join its leadership team.
Created as part of the firm's succession planning and continued growth, this opportunity combines complex tax advisory work, ownership of key client relationships and a direct contribution to the firm's strategic direction, with a pathway towards partnership and equity.
The role
Lead tax advisory engagements involving corporate structuring and restructuring, international and cross-border taxation, CGT, Division 7A and trusts.
Review high-level tax compliance work and provide technical guidance on complex matters.
Support due diligence work relating to mergers and acquisitions.
Manage a client portfolio and build strong, long-term relationships.
Identify advisory opportunities and contribute to business development.
Mentor and develop team members, supporting technical standards and quality of delivery.
Work closely with the partners on practice strategy and growth.
What we are looking for
CA or CPA qualification.
At least 8–10 years of relevant public practice experience, with strong Australian tax advisory capability.
Experience handling complex tax matters and translating technical advice into practical recommendations.
Confidence managing client relationships, reviewing work and developing team members.
Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to the growth of a practice.
Ambition to progress towards partnership and take on broader leadership responsibilities.
