Receptionist (8-Month Parental Leave Contract)
JBS Beef City is seeking a qualified and organised Receptionist to join our team on a fixed-term 8-month maternity leave contract.
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, this role is the first point of contact for employees, visitors and external stakeholders.
You will provide high-level administrative support to multiple departments, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of site reception.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing front reception, visitor sign-in and site access procedures
Answering and directing phone calls and email enquiries
Providing administrative support to Operations and Management
Assisting with accounts payable, including maintaining and updating spreadsheets as well as liaising with vendors
Filing, document control and general office administration
Coordinating meetings, training sessions and site communications
Collating weekly Butcher shop orders and invoicing
Organising catering for site functions
About You
Previous experience in reception, administration or accounts payable support
Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills (essential)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
High level of professionalism and customer service
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Located 35km west of Toowoomba, the JBS Beef City Plant is part of the Beef City integrated feedlot, processing and farming facility.
The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in southern hemisphere.
Specialising in grain-fed beef production, the plant employs approximately 950 employees with a current processing capacity of 1,100 cattle per day and has a strong reputation for producing high-quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers.
