Steel Yard Salesperson - Full Time - Shepparton
We are seeking someone with an interest in the building, trade and DIY markets to join our Shepparton Mitre 10 store in Northern Victoria.
This is an excellent prospect to join a leading trade and rural retailer with 10 stores across regional Victoria.
Develop your customer service skills and trade product knowledge in a friendly team environment, with opportunities for career advancement.
Key responsibilities include:
Steel and trade yard sales
Providing high-quality customer service
Picking steel and trade yard orders for delivery
Cutting steel to length
Assisting with weekly & quarterly stocktakes
Keeping the steel yard clean and well presented
To be successful, you will have:
A current driver's licence and forklift licence
Sound knowledge of steel and mesh building products
Availability to work every fourth Saturday
The ability to work effectively in a team
Experience operating an overhead gantry crane or providing customer service in trade supplies is advantageous but not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
