We partner with top OEMs to provide high-quality products, solutions, and technical support, helping our customers achieve reliable, efficient, and secure operations across industrial and commercial applications.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end procurement, fleet management, and purchasing activities across the AxFlow group.
This role requires strong commercial judgement, accuracy and ownership, with responsibility for progressing procurement matters from initial requirement through sourcing, evaluation, recommendation, approval, delivery and verified closure.
You will drive cost-effective sourcing, strong supplier performance and reliable supply, while supporting the S&OP; process, partnering with finance to align procurement with budgets, demand forecasts and inventory planning.
Based at our Keysborough Distribution Centre, you'll gain broad exposure across OEM procurement, fleet management, ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance and business units.
The successful candidate will be expected to resolve routine procurement matters independently within agreed authority limits and bring decision-ready recommendations to management where escalation is required.
Key Responsibilities
Own procurement activities through the full cycle: requirements clarification, sourcing, RFQ management, quote normalisation, total-cost assessment, recommendation, approval, purchase order / contract, supplier follow-up, delivery, issue resolution and closure
Manage procurement across OEM pumps and fluid handling equipment, components, spare parts, PPE, MRO and general purchasing
Source, evaluate and manage suppliers,

including negotiation of pricing, terms and service agreements
Prepare clear, decision-ready commercial recommendations covering the business need, options considered, total cost of ownership, assumptions, risks, operational impacts and recommended course of action
Maintain strategic OEM and supplier relationships and manage performance through regular reviews, action tracking, NCR management, corrective-action follow-up and escalation of overdue or recurring issues
Process and manage purchase orders through AS400 and Dynamics 365 with high levels of accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate internal procurement and inter-company transfers to optimise inventory utilisation
Manage end-to-end fleet procurement and leasing for 100+ vehicles, including renewals, compliance, cost control and commercial optimisation
Support procurement and commercial evaluation of warehouse, fleet, MHE, facilities and operational CAPEX, including robust business-case inputs and lifecycle cost analysis
Identify and deliver cost savings through negotiation, consolidation, spend analysis and strategic sourcing
Support ERP improvement initiatives, master-data accuracy and procurement process standardisation
Ensure procurement compliance, governance, contractual discipline and audit readiness
Partner with operations, supply chain, warehouse, finance and sales teams to support business needs
