We are seeking a motivated
Chef Supervisor
to join our team at
HMAS Albatross, Nowra
.
This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a confident Chef who enjoys leading teams, delivering quality food and maintaining high operational standards while remaining actively involved in daily kitchen operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and support the kitchen team across daily meal services and functions
Prepare and oversee high-quality meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Manage food production, presentation and portion control standards
Maintain food safety, hygiene, HACCP and allergen compliance
Support menu execution, forecasting, ordering and stock control
Monitor food waste and support efficient kitchen operations
Train, coach and develop kitchen team members
Foster a positive,



collaborative and safety-focused kitchen culture
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Previous experience in a Chef Supervisor, senior Chef or kitchen leadership role
Experience in commercial kitchens, bulk catering or high-volume food production
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management
Confident leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Reliable, professional and team-focused approach
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
