We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to provide quality, person-centred support to QCSS clients in their own homes across the Southern end of the Gold Coast

Broadbeach to Palm Beach and surrounding suburbs
Hours
Casual hours covering sick days, planned and unplanned leave
Availability
2 days of availability.
Mustbe available either Thursday and/or Fridays from 3:30pm - 5pm.
Most shift ranges from Monday to Friday during 8am - 5pm.
Shifts
Typicall, 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day
Renumeration
Level 2.1 $*****/hr (including the 25% Casual loading) + Super + Paid travel time + Kilometers reimbursement + Paid training + EAP.
Shift Type
80% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care.
About QCSS
The Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) supports people to live independently and stay connected with their community.
Your Responsibilities May Include
Providing
domestic assistance
, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
Supporting clients to maintain independence and achieve their personal goals
Facilitating social and community participation through companionship and outings




Transporting clients and assisting with shopping, errands and appointments using your own vehicle
Building respectful, trusting relationships while promoting dignity, choice, privacy and independence
We Are Looking For Caring and Reliable Support Workers Who
Hold a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or a related field;
or
Have experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles
Have a genuine passion for supporting people to live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Are caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Role Requirements
Australian working rights
Current Australian Driver Licence – Open or Green P Plates
Current Queensland motor vehicle registration
Access to a reliable, insured and roadworthy vehicle
Willing to obtain
A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
First Aid and CPR certification
