You will be the welcoming face and voice of Apex Radiology, supporting patients, referrers, and clinical teams while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
**Key Responsibilities** * Welcome patients and manage front-desk responsibilities in a professional and empathetic manner* Answer telephone enquiries and respond efficiently and sensitively to patient needs* Schedule patient appointments and determine examination requirements* Communicate preparation instructions, procedure costs, and billing information clearly to patients* Register patients, manage paperwork, and handle billing and EFTPOS transactions* Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of reports* Perform Medicare and Veterans Affairs claims batching* Support other administrative tasks as directed by management**ABOUT YOU** * Familiarity with patient booking and entry systems preferred but not required (RIS experience highly regarded)* Strong knowledge of medical terminology would be preferable but not required* High level of professionalism, empathy, and interpersonal communication skills* Excellent time management, multitasking,
