Reporting directly to the Partners, you will manage a portfolio of clients and provide high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
Key responsibilities
Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSFs
Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT returns, and payroll tax obligations
Providing proactive taxation and business advisory services
Liaising directly with clients, the ATO, ASIC, and other stakeholders
Assisting clients with tax planning and business structuring matters
Managing workflow and ensuring compliance deadlines are met
Reviewing junior team members' work and providing guidance and mentoring
Supporting practice improvement initiatives and client relationship management
About you
Minimum 5 years' experience working in an Australian public practice accounting firm
CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
Robust technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements




Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns across various entity types
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience using Xero, MYOB and XPM
Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines
