Electra Cables Aust. PTY. LTD. is seeking a dedicated and organised Warehouse Store professional to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. This is a
full time position
that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse and storage operations. As a Warehouse Store team member, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, inventory management and dispatch of products within our distribution facility. This role is essential to ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately, and that our warehouse operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Key responsibilities
Receiving and unloading incoming goods, verifying quantities and checking for damage or discrepancies
Accurately recording product information into the warehouse management system and maintaining detailed inventory records
Organising and storing products in designated locations using appropriate storage methods and safety procedures
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements
Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and responsible manner
Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods and other issues to management
Supporting the warehouse team to meet productivity targets and delivery deadlines
What we're looking for
Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar storage environment
Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy when managing multiple tasks




Physical capability to perform manual handling duties, including lifting, carrying and moving goods regularly
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (certification or willingness to obtain certification is advantageous)
Proficiency with computer systems and warehouse management software
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to health and safety practices and adherence to workplace safety protocols
Reliability and punctuality, with a robust work ethic
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced workplace
