Manage the day-to-day operation of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, till and safe management
Manage weekly stock ordering through suppliers, controlling inventory levels, stock rotation (FIFO) and wastage to franchise benchmarks
Monitor and manage store financial performance, including daily reconciliation and banking, weekly sales reporting to the franchise owner, and control of food cost and labour cost against budget
Responsibilities
Prepare weekly staff rosters against forecast sales, ensuring compliance with the applicable award, including pay rates, breaks and record-keeping
Ensure full compliance with the Safety program and local council requirements, including temperature checks, cleaning schedules and readiness for compliance evaluations and health inspections




Maintain brand presentation standards and execute national promotional campaigns and limited-time offer changeovers on schedule
Be responsible for weekly stocktake and inventory management, and weekly inventory and sales reporting to the HQ
Drive store sales through upselling programs, catering orders and management of third-party delivery platforms
Handle customer feedback, online reviews and complaints, and coordinate local marketing activity, including community and business catering accounts
Ensure workplace health and safety obligations are met for staff and customers at all times
Qualifications & Experience
Lead and manage a team of retail staff
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet targets
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Monitor inventory levels and order new stock as needed
Train and supervise staff to maintain a high standard of performance
A Certificate IV, Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Retail Management or a closely related field
