Synergie is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Fitter / Technician
for a day shift role at a manufacturing facility in Campbellfield, responsible for machinery maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Technician – Campbellfield
About the role:
Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per annum plus superannuation
Full-time hours based in Campbellfield
Hands-on maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
What you will be required to do:
Perform preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs and breakdown troubleshooting on plant machinery.
Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.
Undertake fitting, turning, welding and general mechanical maintenance duties.
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and service records.
Coordinate external contractors and assist with equipment installations and improvements.
Conduct machinery inspections and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
To be successful in the role you will:
Hold a relevant Fitter & Turner trade qualification.
Have proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Demonstrate strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Have experience with preventative maintenance programs and machinery breakdowns.
Welding, boiler maintenance and dangerous goods industry experience will be highly regarded.
Be self-motivated, reliable and confident working independently or within a team.
