Protech Townsville is seeking skilled FEL Operators for a variety of upcoming and ongoing opportunities across the region. We partner with multiple clients across bulk materials handling, quarry operations, manufacturing, fertiliser processing, logistics, and industrial sites, offering both rostered positions and adaptable casual work.
Our current ongoing opportunities are predominantly within quarry operations, asphalt production plants, and concrete batch plants, while ad-hoc work is available acrossour fertiliser processing sites withinTownsville.

What's Available?
Immediate start pending site
Ongoing rostered positions
Casual ad-hoc shifts
Local Townsville-based work
Day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts available
Shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours
Opportunities across multiple industries and sites
Potential for long-term placements with leading employers
Typical Duties:
Operating Front End Loaders safely and efficiently
Loading trucks, hoppers, crushers and processing equipment
Stockpile management and material movement
Quarry and production support operations
Bulk material and product handling
Feeding plant and processing equipment
Supplying and loading raw materials into concrete and asphalt batch plants
Assisting with batching operations and production requirements




Conducting pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks
Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Tickets & Experience Required
Current Front End Loader Ticket
Minimum 12 months experience operating FEL
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
Quarry, production, bulk handling or fertiliser experience highly regarded
Highly Regarded
Concrete batching plant experience
Asphalt production plant experience
Quarry experience
Fertiliser handling experience
Production or manufacturing experience
Loader experience with scales
Additional machinery tickets
Front End Loader experience on CAT, Komatsu or Volvo machinery
