About the Role
Protech is currently seeking motivated and reliable Civil Labourers for ongoing projects across North Queensland, regional Queensland, and remote locations. These roles offer exposure to a variety of road maintenance, asphalt, spray seal, civil construction, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for candidates who enjoy hands-on outdoor work, can work effectively within a team, and are willing to travel when required.
Duties May Include
General civil and construction labouring
Road maintenance and rehabilitation works
Asphalt and spray seal labouring
Concrete, drainage and culvert works
Vegetation control and roadside maintenance
Installation and maintenance of roadside assets
Manual handling and use of hand and power tools
Site housekeeping and safety duties
Emergency response and repair works
Current Driver Licence
Construction White Card
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Ability to work away from home when required
Availability for day and night shifts
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
Ability to attend the Protech office for onboarding and compliance requirements

Traffic Management tickets
Plant operating experience
Trade background or related industry experience
