About the Role
The
Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator
provides educational leadership and strategic direction for the professional development, training, education, research, and ongoing practice development of occupational therapists at Forensicare. This role ensures the delivery of a comprehensive program of continuing professional education tailored to student and graduate occupational therapists, as well as experienced practitioners and managers.
Key responsibilities include:
Leads the design, delivery and evaluation of continuing skilled education for occupational therapists at Forensicare.
Coordinate student placements and strengthen university partnerships.
Provide clinical supervision, consultation and professional support.
Contribute to interdisciplinary education, workforce initiatives and research.
Help shape the future of occupational therapy practice in forensic mental health.
About You:
Proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate professional development, training and education programs.
Excellent interpersonal,



communication and presentation skills
A passion for learning, innovation and recovery-oriented practice.
What you need:
Approved degree in Occupational Therapy
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
Additional qualifications in Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment would be an advantage.
