Product Owner - AI Delivery Transformation
We're looking for a senior, hands-on Product Owner to lead the redesign and build of an AI‐enabled delivery model; the end-to-end path from idea to value. This is a true maker role: help the business transform their delivery capability and own the product vision, outcomes, roadmap and a single prioritised backlog across roles, workflows, decision rights, controls and the engineering pipeline, ensuring technology enables the redesigned model (not just automates today's process).
Own the product end-to-end: vision, outcomes, roadmap, prioritised backlog and acceptance criteria
Lead discovery to understand user problems and remove hand-offs / simplify flow, reshaping roles and decision rights where needed
Define where work is best performed by people, agents or both, partnering with practitioners, tech, data/AI and risk stakeholders
Translate problems into clear, testable requirements and sequencing decisions; hold the line on what/why/priority while engineering owns the how
Build and validate the integrated model through prototypes, a "steel thread" and live initiatives; accept/reject outcomes against product intent
Embed responsible AI requirements, human oversight, controls and decision points early (not retrofitted)
Establish baselines and track measures across cycle time, quality, rework, adoption, reuse, productivity, automation,
risk and value, using evidence to scale/adapt/stop
A target end-to-end model agreed and tested in real work with clear roles, workflows, controls and decision rights
A demonstrable contribution toward reducing delivery cycle time, without reducing quality
One integrated backlog where every skill, agent or integration is traceable to a lifecycle problem, a user and an outcome measure
Agentic tooling showing repeat use with evidence-based scale/adapt/stop decisions (including stopping what doesn't move the metrics)
Strong backlog leadership for delivery/engineering "users" (problem framing + testable acceptance criteria)
Track record redesigning workflows, roles/decision rights and controls in a regulated or controls-aware setting
Strong product craft - you personally produce problem statements, journey/process maps, prototypes, measures and roadmap options
Practical fluency with agentic tooling (workflow/coding agents) and comfort interpreting evaluation/adoption data
Ability to influence senior stakeholders without authority and make tough trade-offs (including stop decisions)
Nice to have: financial services/regulatory domain experience; platform/delivery transformation (Agile at scale, DevOps, developer experience); product/agile certifications.
