We are seeking a talented Unity / VR Developer to join an innovative team delivering next-generation immersive experiences. This role will focus on designing, developing and enhancing cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) applications using Unity, working across a range of exciting projects that push the boundaries of interactive technology.
The Role
As a Unity / VR Developer, you will be responsible for building and optimising high-quality VR applications, collaborating closely with designers, subject matter experts and technical stakeholders to deliver engaging and intuitive user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain VR applications using Unity
Design, build and optimise interactive experiences for VR headsets and immersive environments
Implement gameplay mechanics, user interactions and immersive features
Troubleshoot, debug and enhance application performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to architecture, design decisions and best practices
Participate in testing, deployment and ongoing support activities
About You
Proven commercial experience developing applications in Unity
Experience building applications for Virtual Reality (VR) platforms
Understanding of 3D graphics, physics, optimisation and performance tuning
Experience integrating APIs, SDKs and third-party tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with Meta Quest, HTC Vive or other VR platforms
Knowledge of XR, AR or mixed reality technologies
Experience with multiplayer, networking or simulation-based applications
Exposure to 3D modelling pipelines and asset integration
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
