About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised hospitality professional as a
Venue Manager
to oversee the day-to-day operations of our venue. This role requires a robust leader with a passion for hospitality, events, and customer service.
The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless running of the venue, protect the liquor license, lead a dynamic team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting financial and operational goals while following the company ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
Well dressed and presented at all times
Ensure directors KPI's are met
Ensure all service standards are of high level and uniformed by all staff




Deep understand of all Liquor License regulations
Attend regular licensing meetings
Dealing with Licensing authorities as required
Active knowledge of compliance to established personnel, award and termination guidelines and regulations
Ensure that the venue compliance folder and anything associated with the venue is compliant and up to date
Ensure you have extensive knowledge of the current CCTV system
Have extensive knowledge of venues powers and mechanical services
Understanding of H + L reporting
Responsible for the opening and closing of venues on a day to day basis
Ensure all staff are well mannered and well presented
Be able to oversee, run and manage the Vip Department on a nightly basis
Brief staff before and after shift inclusive of upcoming events and drink promotions
Conduct on-going and regular training for all Staff
Ensure all staff are RSA certified
Ensuring that all promoter needs are met and specifics are followed in accordance to certain nights
Ensure all staff conduct themselves within the standards and procedures outlined in the Standard operating Procedures within all venues
Develop strategies for improving staff standards and procedures
Support management of roster and staff availabilities in accordance




Responsible for the workforce management system
Hold a Victorian RSA Certificate
Work in conjunction with all other staff and promoters to create a positive working environment
Maintain staff training procedures across all venues and manuals for staff
Make sure venue looks immaculate at all times
Ensure all venue log books are up to date
Attend weekly department meetings as required
Ensure Venue Compliance folder is accurately maintained and essential services are adhered to
Log all maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs
Obtain a thorough understanding of existing beverage relationships and contractual obligations
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience (2+ years preferred) in hospitality
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven ability to manage budgets and drive profitability
Experience using POS, booking, and inventory management systems
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and public holidays
RSA and any other relevant certifications (e.g. First Aid, Food Safety)
