The firm is heavily committed to the ongoing development of the accounting team. This has contributed to helping the firm achieve a high level of client satisfaction and expand through regular client referrals. About the Role: We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our team.
Bachelor Degree level qualifications in Accounting will be needed, and ideally three years experience in a client facing role. The successful candidate will preferably have:
3 years of related work experience in a similar public practice accounting role
Experience with all entity types including SMSFs
Experience preparing BAS statements,
Financial Statements and Tax Returns
Experience interacting with the ATO and other regulatory authorities
Be proficient in the use of XERO, MYOB, BGL and Handisoft software
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook
Confident and skilled communication skills.
Ability to operate independently and honestly both with and without supervision.
Review and assist junior accountants
Ability to work in a small team .
