Melbourne Wide Electrical & Plumbing is growing, and we're looking for a qualified Air Conditioning Technician to join our professional team.
This is an opportunity for a quality tradesperson who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their workmanship and wants to be rewarded for strong performance. You'll carry out domestic servicing, breakdown repairs and split system installations across Melbourne.

About the role
Install and commission new and replacement split system air conditioners.
Service, diagnose and repair domestic split and ducted air conditioning systems.
Carry out preventative maintenance and recommend practical repair or replacement options.
Communicate clearly with customers about findings and proposed work.




Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and attention to detail.
Complete accurate job notes, photos, parts requirements and relevant testing and compliance documentation.
Use our field technology and upfront pricing to deliver a consistent customer experience.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and represent Melbourne Wide Electrical & Plumbing professionally.
About you
Relevant air conditioning and refrigeration trade qualification.
Current refrigerant handling licence and electrical licence appropriate to the work.
Proven experience in domestic servicing, fault-finding and split system installations.
Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills.
Professional communication and customer‐service skills.
Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently.
Current Victorian driver's licence; manual licence preferred.
White Card and relevant tickets or certifications.
The right to work in Australia.
Gas ducted heating and evaporative cooling experience would be an advantage.
A satisfactory police check and Working with Children Check are required for appointment.
