Stella and Estelle are successful, contemporary Australian women's fashion brands part of the East Side Clothing company. We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with the experience to support our business as we go through this next growth phase. Open to part-time over 4 days for the right person.
About the Role:
The Senior Bookkeeper must have a solid background in accounting and will be responsible for managing the debtors, payment of supplier bills, processing of employee pays, bank reconciliations and generation of monthly reports for East Side Clothing Company and Intermix Clothing Retailers. They are accountable for all of the data entry into the accounting system, critical and proactive thinking is necessary, as is the ability to work with a small team.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintain the Accounts Receivables, including weekly reconciliation of the Debtors, reconciliation of payments received from Debtors
Record supplier payments and office in MYOB accounting software, coding to appropriate accounts, reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis




Collate supplier invoices into weekly and monthly payment runs based on trading terms, streamlining payment process wherever possible
Reconcile all bank accounts on a weekly basis, ensuring all charges are correct and approved, investigate any abnormal charges
Reconcile all loan accounts and key balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
Full function of the payroll system, setting up current employees, processing pay runs with 100% accuracy
Reconcile all employee statutory obligations and ensure accurate payments to the government provider, this includes, superannuation, PAYG Withholding, payroll tax and workcover payments
Produce all month end reports, reconcile results for accuracy and explain/understand variances to budget
About you
Solid background in accounting
Ability to work with a small team
Critical and proactive thinking
Able to communicate with all stakeholders within the business
Previous work experience in wholesale/retail space
