A well-established, self-performing civil contractor with a history stretching back decades is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their delivery team.
This family-owned business is now run day to day by an experienced leadership team with strong tier-one backgrounds, while the family remains closely involved. They specialise in road projects and subdivisions, are currently very busy with a strong pipeline of work, and are tipped to grow further as the market continues to heat up. Projects typically range from $10 to $15 million.
The Role
Lead project delivery across programme, cost, quality and safety outcomes
Manage and develop project engineers, cadets and supervisors, plus the broader site team
Carry full responsibility for procurement and project budgets
Report directly to the Project Manager
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and plant/machinery logistics
Prepare and manage Inspection and Test Plans, RFIs and technical documentation




Deliver civil infrastructure works including stormwater, drainage, bulk earthworks, utilities, subdivisions and landscaping
Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities to support project delivery
About You
Civil engineering background with experience delivering road and subdivision projects
Experience managing project teams, budgets and procurement
Strong working knowledge of stormwater, drainage, and subdivisions
Practical, organised and capable of operating with a high level of autonomy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Looking to step up onto larger-scale projects
