The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a national Tier 2 contractor with an established presence in the South Australian market. Known for delivering complex, high-quality projects and building lasting industry relationships, this business operates across commercial, recreational, multi-residential, aged care, health and education sectors.
With a strong pipeline of work, you will join the team delivering a significant $85M project while gaining the experience and responsibility needed to progress into Project Management. Working alongside an experienced leadership team within a structured and supportive setting, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical capability, strengthen your project leadership skills and build towards managing projects of your own.
The Role As Senior Project Coordinator, you will play an integral role in the successful delivery of this major project, taking ownership of key coordination functions while working closely with the Project Manager and broader delivery team.
This is an opportunity to build on your existing experience, take greater responsibility across project delivery and develop the skills required to transition into a Project Manager position.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate project delivery across all stages of construction.
Manage communication between consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
Oversee procurement, contract administration and subcontractor engagement.
Monitor project programmes, budgets and cost reporting.
Maintain quality assurance, compliance and safety standards.
Identify and resolve project issues, keeping delivery on track.
Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as you work towards Project Management.
About You
You are an experienced construction professional who understands what it takes to coordinate a successful project and is ready to take the next step. With experience supporting projects valued at $10M or more, you are confident managing competing priorities, working with project stakeholders and taking ownership of your responsibilities.
You will bring:
A degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience.
Experience as a Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator on commercial construction projects.
A sound understanding of the full construction lifecycle.
Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and attention to detail.
The ambition to progress into Project Management and the drive to take on greater responsibility.
