The Woollahra Hotel is one of the east's genuinely good pubs. Quality food and beverage, a loyal local crowd, and Bistro Moncur next door, which has been doing it properly for over 25 years.
We are looking for a Service Manager to take ownership of the floor and build the team behind it.
The role
This is a floor leadership role, not an office one. You will run service, set the standard, and develop a large casual team, many of them younger and part-time, into a service outfit that people notice. Reporting to the GM of Operations.
The venue already has the trade. What it wants is consistency and polish on the floor, and someone who can bring a young team along with them.
What we are looking for
Experience in quality restaurants, bistros or positive pubs, where steps of service actually matter




A genuine track record of training and developing junior and casual staff
Strong on the floor during service, calm under pressure
Gaming experience is not required. They will teach it.
