The Role
This is a varied position that spans Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community access support. You'll work with participants with a range of needs, from high and complex care through to capacity-building and social inclusion, helping them build confidence and independence in every part of their lives.
What you'll do
Provide sleepover supports, responding to needs as they arise
Deliver personal care and manual handling, including hoisting and positioning
Assist with medication management, meal preparation, and daily household routines
Support participants to build independence and confidence in their own home
Work as part of a rostered team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Support participants to navigate systems such as NDIS plans, housing, mental health, and community services
Provide practical assistance, including referrals, outreach,



and transport coordination to appointments and activities
Advocate alongside participants for fair and equitable access to supports
Build participants' capacity for self-advocacy and long‐term independence
Support social inclusion by helping participants connect, engage, and thrive in their community

What You'll Bring
Required:
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
Current driver's licence
Preferred (not essential):
Cert III/IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
A reliable, insured vehicle
High-level support experience (e.g. hoisting, bowel care)
Comfortable using apps and digital rostering/care tools
