We're looking for reliable, motivated, and team-oriented individuals to join

and support the Defence base at RAAF Edinburgh on a variety of essential catering roles.
Available Positions
Sous Chefs–
Assist the Head Chef in leading and managing kitchen operations to ensure efficient catering service delivery
Supervise food preparation, production, presentation, and menu implementation to meet quality standards.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance across all kitchen activities.
Control food costs through effective ordering, inventory management, menu costings, and stock storage practices.
Lead and mentor kitchen team members while ensuring contractual and client requirements are met
Support meal preparation, service, and kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food and outstanding service
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Senior Chef in a large commercial kitchen
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a kitchen team
Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Solid knowledge of food safety, statutory compliance, and catering operations
Excellent problem-solving,



organisational, and prioritisation skills

Current National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
Ability to obtain a pre‐employment medical clearance (including Drug & Alcohol testing)
Relevant trade qualifications (where applicable)
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above
Defence or military experience – highly desirable
