This is a hands-on factory role assisting with the manufacture, preparation and handling of timber staircase components. The position also includes driving a manual, car-licence truck for deliveries when required.
Key responsibilities
Assisting tradespeople with the manufacture and preparation of timber stair components
Using basic hand and power tools
Sanding, packing and preparing completed components
Moving and storing timber and materials within the factory
Loading and unloading stair components and materials
Driving a manual, car-licence truck to building sites between Sydney and Newcastle
Hand unloading deliveries on site
Keeping the factory, yard and work areas clean and organised




Assisting with general factory and production tasks as required
About you
Confidence driving a manual transmission vehicle or truck
Previous experience in carpentry, joinery, cabinetmaking, timber manufacturing or factory production is preferred
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
Positive attention to detail and pride in completing work properly
Able to commute to West Gosford each day
